Medieval Mayhem

Sunday, May 26, 2019

Let the mayhem commence with some medieval fun and games at Hylton Castle!

The event will take place in the childrens play park next to Hylton Castle before the newly restored medieval castle opens to the public later this year.

Activities on the day will include medieval crafts with demonstrations from wood turners and plague doctors and living history demonstrations which will include a hog roast (charges apply), weapons, music and dance and storytelling.

Medieval games will be taking place on the day and you can join in. So if you fancy trying your hand at tug of war, quoits, wheelbarrow racing and sack racing why not give it a go!

It promises to be a great day out for all of the family and one not to be missed!
