New Year's Eve celebration

Thursday, December 31, 2015

Come to Sunderland’s award winning seafront and celebrate the New Year with a bang, a whizz and a pop as a breathtaking firework spectacular finishes off an evening of fire-lit family fun.

An early evening event, funded by the Coastal Communities Fund, will see Cliffe Park, Seaburn play host to awe-inspiring fire acts, children’s fairground rides and a range of delicious catering delights.

The fiery fun will run from 4.30 to 6pm on Thursday 31 December 2015.

The events are delivered by Sunderland Live on behalf of Sunderland City Council.

And if you'd like to keep the party going a little longer, the city centre will host its very own firework display at midnight, which can be best viewed from Keel Square.
