Beyoncé on sale tomorrow - all you need to know ahead of on sale day

Beyonce Formation World Tour

Tickets for Beyoncé’s Formation World Tour concert at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light go on sale tomorrow (Tuesday 16 February) to the general public.

The iconic singer announced her world tour off the back of her Super Bowl half-time show appearance last week, with the Stadium of Light playing host to the star on the opening night of her European leg of the tour on Tuesday 28 June, 2016.

Following an exclusive pre-sale for O2 priority customers, Beyoncé continued her reign as one of the most popular artists on the planet selling out the allocation, with ticket agents experiencing phenomenal interest.

SAFC’s commercial director, Gary Hutchinson, said: “There is a huge amount of excitement and interest around this concert, which has been reflected in the unprecedented demand for tickets during the pre-sale period.

“With the remaining tickets on sale tomorrow, we would advise fans to book their tickets as soon as they can as this is set to be the must-see show of 2016.”

A general sale of all remaining tickets will commence from 9am on Tuesday (16 February). Fans are advised to secure their tickets as soon as possible and can purchase in-person from the Stadium of Light ticket office (General Admission (GA) tickets, affording pitch standing /unreserved Tier 1 seating) or through the approved ticket agencies listed below.

Reserved seating tickets can only be purchased through approved ticket agents and are not available from the Stadium of Light ticket office. Fans are also advised that tickets cannot be purchased via SAFC’s telephone hotline or through the club’s website.

Concert hospitality is available to buy now, with all Executive Boxes alongside the Montgomery Suite and Quinn’s Sports Bar already sold out. Limited Gold, Diamond and Platinum packages are still available for fans to guarantee their ticket to this must-see show.

Fans who wish to queue to ensure they get their tickets can do so from 5pm today (15 February), with special provisions in place to ensure public safety. Queuing will be housed within the Carling and East stands of the stadium, protecting fans from the elements.

Anyone wishing to queue overnight must be aged over 18 years old. Club stewards will be on duty and will ask for ID from anyone they suspect does not meet this age criteria. The club also advises that there will be no smoking and or alcohol consumption permitted in the stadium concourses and surrounding areas.

A selection of food and drinks will be available to purchase for fans queuing overnight and in the early hours of the morning including mince and dumplings, assorted pies, and bacon/sausage stotties.
