Helen Green, Creative Director at Arts Centre Washington has said;

“Christmas is our favourite time of year here at Arts Centre Washington!  We are delighted to welcome back Blunderbuss Theatre who are performing our Christmas show ’I’ve Seen Santa’ especially as they were so well received by packed houses for their production of Hugless Douglas here last month.

“This will be the fourth year that the Monster Ceilidh Band has counted down to New Years with us and every time the event has been a sell-out, including this year!

“The Christmas Craft Fair is always a regular feature of our Christmas celebrations and is the perfect opportunity to buy something unique as a present made by one of the extremely talented local crafts people. Our resident community choir the B#’s will also be in attendance entertaining shoppers with Christmas Carols.

“Why not support Sunderland’s young musicians and check out the City of Sunderland Youth Jazz Orchestra, they will be getting us all in the festive mood with an evening of Christmas music and song!”
