Performers wanted for Sunderland Illuminations

Sunderland City Council is seeking expressions of interest for choirs, performers and bands to perform at the Festival of Light as part of Sunderland Illuminations.

The Festival of Light will take place within Roker Park and will operate every Thursday – Sunday from 18 October until 18 November plus the whole of half term ( w/c 22 October) from 4.00pm – 9.30pm each day.

As part of the Festival of Light, Sunderland City Council would like to invite local school groups, individuals and organisations to come along and showcase their talent from the Bandstand within the Park.  Various timeslots are available across the evening and can be discussed upon registering your interest. In 2017, we had over 225,000 visitors to the Festival of Light so we guarantee you will have a very welcoming audience.

If you would like to take up this opportunity please complete the attached form and return to michelle.whittle@sunderland.gov.uk

For further information please contact Michelle on 0191 5618433.

Closing Date for applications:  Friday 5 October 2018
