Summer Mix at Arts Centre Washington

Arts Centre Washington are offering art, music and drama workshops for children throughout the Summer holidays!

The session, which are recommended ages 8 -14 years will run every Wednesday from 10am- 12pm.

Sessions include:
Samba Drumming  - Learn drumming patterns and skills with professional drummer Daniel Dixon, perfect for beginners

Circus Skills - Juggling, plate spinning, poi and much more with ringmaster Marty Bloomfield

Arts & Crafts- Get crafty with artist Kit Kingsbury and take home your own unique  creation
 

Painting and Drawing  - Artist Vince Cooper will be providing expert tuition helping to improve technique
 

Jewellery Making - Sophie Lisa Beresford will be brings her own quirky aesthetic to Jewellery Making

Drama - Join award winning actor / writer/ director Neil Armstrong for some fun drama games and workshops

All sessions are £5 or you can buy a summer pass for all six sessions for £25.

Discover and Explore Arts Awards will be on offer with extra sessions running in the summer . Arts Award is managed by Trinity College London in association with Arts Council England. The award is a personal learning programme which develops and assesses both arts-related and transferable skills, such as creativity, communication, planning and teamwork
