This year’s Seaburn Horticultural Show and Art and Craft Exhibition was an overwhelming success with giant vegetables, stunning blooms and an abundance of craft stalls for visitors to enjoy.
The show has been held annually for over 30 years and continues to grow in success with exhibitors and visitors travelling from far and wide.
The show also incorporates the Townswomen’s Guild Annual Craft Exhibition, an awards ceremony and an auction of produce.
Sunderland is extremely proud to host both the Seaburn Horticultural Show and the Houghton Horticultural Show, recognised as two of the premier events in the North East Gardening calendar.
Houghton Horticultural Show will take place on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 October and remains a fundamental element of the ancient festival, Houghton Feast.
Everyone is encouraged to come along over the weekend, an awards ceremony will take place on Sunday followed by an auction of produce with proceeds going to charity.
