Pick up your nature explorer passport at WWT Washington

Nature explorer with passport
Saturday, July 18, 2015 to Monday, August 31, 2015

The WWT Washington Wetland Centre is calling all nature explorers – ‘your passport is issued, your expedition is set, your summer adventure is waiting at WWT Washington Wetland Centre!’

Splash, hunt and dip your way through our wetlands this season to become a Super Nature Explorer, with fun family activities to enjoy and unforgettable close-up wildlife just waiting to be discovered.

Go on a mini beast hunt or pond-dip for watery creatures.  Meet incredible wetland wildlife including cheeky otters, pink flamingos and endangered geese.  Or take part in special events like campfire cooking, bug handling sessions and a birds of prey day.

Children can pick up a free Nature Explorers Passport at the admissions desk right up until Monday 31 August and complete the 8 challenges to receive a special gold sticker.

And if you don’t have enough time to fill in your passport on the day, you can visit again for free to complete your mission any time during the summer.
