Seaburn Classic Car Show

A variety of lovingly cared for and restored classic cars will be on display at Seaburn Recreation Park on Sunday 11 June 2017.

The show, organised by Sunderland and District Classic Car Club, is family friendly and takes place within sight of Sunderland's two Blue Flag award-winning beaches.

Admission is £2 for adults with accompanied children free. No unaccompanied children.

Sunderland new year celebrations

Transformers, fire-performers, live music and a fantastic firework finale will be helping visitors celebrate the start of a new year at the seafront in Sunderland.

On Saturday December 31, from 5-6pm,  join hosts Sun FM at Seaburn’s Cliffe Park for some great entertainment for all the family.

Sunderland based artist Penella Bee and her team performing a range of dazzling acts using fire and lights. Other attractions on the day include a children’s fairground, on-site catering and live music performed by local singer Ashleigh Humble.


West End and Broadway leading lady Kerry Ellis, best known for playing Elphaba in the West End and Broadway productions of Wicked, will guest star as Alice in select venues including Sunderland!

TV and West End star Wendi Peters, much loved for her acclaimed portrayal of Cilla Battersby-Brown in Coronation Street, will headline the upcoming 2017 UK tour of Wonderland as Queen of Hearts alongside musical theatre favourite Dave Willetts, who has previously starred in tours of South Pacific, 42nd Street and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, as White Rabbit.
