National Trust Christmas Past at Washington Old Hall

Cozy up with us this winter and find out how our past residents celebrated Christmas. It's a tale of mixed fortunes.

Find out what the festive table looked like in the 1600s and what was in a First World War food parcel. Sing along with our choirs and try your hand at making a willow decoration to take home. Venture through the enchanted winter parterre to enjoy a well earned treat in our tearoom. For the first time in 2016 we welcome the Green Man, King of Winter.
