Public Lecture: Curating ‘Anglo-Saxon Kingdoms: Art, Word, War’ at the British Library with Claire Breay

The second University of Sunderland Public Lecture for 2019 welcomes Claire Breay - Head of Ancient, Medieval and Early Modern Manuscripts at the British Library.

This lecture discusses the preparation for the recent exhibition ‘Anglo-Saxon Kingdoms: Art, Word, War’, with a focus on the biblical manuscripts from the kingdom of Northumbria brought together in the exhibition.

This lecture takes place in the fitting venue of St Peter's Church. Some seats may have restricted views of Claire and the presentation.

Please note that registration, tea and coffee will be available from 6pm.  The Lecture will start at 6.30pm.

Free parking is available at the Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peters.
