Sunderland Food Bank Campaign
As Christmas is fast approaching, we are appealing to residents to consider supporting local foodbanks this year and to give what they can.
This year has been a difficult year for us all but for some there has been the additional worry of not having food in the cupboards and foodbanks across the city are working to support families to help ease this worry over Christmas and the months to come.
If you could donate the following items are needed:
- Tinned Potatoes
- Tinned fruits
- Tinned Carrots
- Tinned Peas
- Any Tinned Meat products
- Tinned Tuna
- Cereal
- Jam
- Biscuits
- Pasta Sauce
- Tinned Rice Pudding
- Tinned or Carton Custard
- Pasta and rice
- Tea, coffee and sugar
- Long life milk
- Savoury crackers
We all deserve that extra treat over Christmas so the following items would be greatly appreciated:
- Selection boxes
- Christmas puddings
- Mince Pies
- Christmas cakes
Please no frozen or fresh food, tinned beans or soup.
